Applications support commercial & trading and risk management systems, from Client server to web. *Competencies: * Technical skills including programming, installation, configuration, and database management Analysis and design skills involving ability to gather data on systems issues, define alternative approaches, assess business impact, recommend cost effective solutions, and develop and implement those solutions. Communication and interpersonal skills for consulting with clients to understand needs, define requirements, and provide effective solutions. *Job Requirements:** * BS Computer Science, Info Systems or equivalent combination education & experience 5+ years experience in business application design, development, installation and/or modification in an online environment. Experience in the industry or in an environment whose scope, size and complexity are comparable. Knowledge of relevant technology, tools and middleware including development technologies and scripting languages is critical. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others within and across the organization.
