Our Client is the leading consulting and systems Integration Company
focused on improving utility operational performance. They combine
business, OT and IT domain expertise to deliver and optimize innovative
grid operations solutions. They are in need of a Senior Project Manager to
be a member of the Supply Chain group reporting directly to the VP – Supply
Chain, Environmental Affairs, & Property Management/Real Estate. This
group will support the Supply Chain System Consolidation project to define
the Supply Chain business process and requirements from two existing Supply
Chain applications for a new consolidated system.
The successful candidate will be fully knowledgeable and proficient in all
aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge, initiating and
chartering projects; managing scope, changes and ensuring product quality;
managing all aspects of project execution including creating and tracking
to cost, schedule and scope baselines; developing and managing to run
rates; managing risks and issues; providing clear and accurate weekly and
monthly project reporting and forecasting; delivering projects to
production using readiness assessment, sign-off and project close-out
techniques; and acting as a champion to foster a positive project work
environment.
REQUIRED
A Bachelor’s degree is required. Equivalent work experience and
technical training cannot be substituted for the degree requirement
PMI (Project Management Institute) certification as a PMP (Project
Management Professional) is preferred
At least 5 years project management experience in a dynamic and
fast paced work environment
Experience with project scheduling tools, either Primavera or MS
Project
Experience working with strategic Supply Chain consulting partners
is a plus
Experience with a merger is a plus

concepts *
*Demonstrated experience working on large ERP projects *
Strong process improvement orientation
Sound working understanding of IT concepts, specifically relating
to Supply Chain systems
High energy, detail-oriented individual who demonstrates high
caliber communication, leadership, people, and organizational skills
Ability to lead and communicate with senior level executives
Ability to collaborate and coordinate activities with diverse
groups of people
