Position: Unicenter Developer Location: Boca Raton, FL Duration: 18-24 months Rate: $52/hr A = Candidate must have these attributes B = Management strongly desire the candidate has these attributes C = Management desires the candidate has these attributes Skills Needed A- Unicenter skills, Six years general IT experience and at least 3 years of experience with deploying, configuring and maintaining CA Unicenter ServicePlus Service Desk, dashboards and Desktop Server Management. B- Technical skills, Experience as a Systems Engineer/Administrator for a large scale Windows, Solaris and VMS environment. Experience in Microsoft SQL and Oracle. B J2EE B Perl Programming C - XML C- Documentation for design specifications C- Data analysis, trouble shooting and problem solving skills C- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Knowledge and Experience Needed A- Mastery of Service Desk product methodologies A- HTML A- Screen Painter A- Customized Reports for Service Desk A- Minimum of 2 years of Java and J2EE A- Minimum of 3 years of development/deployment experience in Service Desk R11 A- Minimum of 3 years of development/deployment experience in Desktop Server Management R11 A- Good knowledge of Network System Management R11 A- Experience in deploying service types, and workflows for change orders and Issues A- Proficient in Integration of Service Desk into Network System Management, Spectrum, desktop server management and eHealth. A- Experience in building Models rules and Alerts A- Experience in SQL Queries A- Experience in Building B-Proficient in relational database Oracle, SQL. Responsibilities : The responsibilities of the Unicenter Engineer are to adapt the organizationally defined process within tailoring guidelines for specific projects. Have familiarity with the CMMI model. Perform development activities with Spectrum, eHealth and Network System Management so that they are providing value to our customers. Have a familiarity with a wide variety of system environments and application Types Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints Participate in requirements prioritization. Participate in peer reviews of work products derived from requirements Participate in peer reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly. Establish and implement effective requirements practices, including use and continuous improvement of a requirements process. Assist with the development of the organizations requirements engineering policies, procedures, and tools. Measures of Performance Successful Enterprise Management deployment across the Tolls Data Center, and External business that TDC supports Feedback from key customer or project representatives Customer satisfaction measures Satisfying or exceeding requirements development schedules, resource constraints, and quality goals Education and certifications Relevant Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
