This person will be supporting the SOA Delivery team. They would be evaluating business requirements, analyzing business processes and data requirements. On a daily basis this person would be analyzing API specification, QA and defect investigation. They would be collecting SLA details for customers. 1) Strong knowledge of web services and API. JSON language and XML experience. 2) Need to be able to understand business process. 3) Data Modeling or Object Modeling knowledge (big plus – not required) *MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system. · Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business. · Partners with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversees all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction. · Creates and performs feature testing and determines environmental needs. · Ability to quickly learn and become knowledgeable in all tools utilized. · Defines detail design components with high level architecture blueprints. · Coordinates integration activities to ensure successful implementation. · Ensures effective monitoring of systems. · Defines development strategy, standards and support tools. · Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements. *EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:* · Requires BA/BS in computer science or information systems; 5 or more years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. · Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. · Excellent multitasking, leadership and managerial skills required. · Knowledge of a variety of technologies and/or the ability to understand technology dependencies and manage technology integration required. · Experience with web services and API. They are being tasked with re-imaging the entire Anthem.com website.
