Siebel System Administrator EL SEGUNDO, CA 6 Months Job Description:- As the Siebel System Administrator you will administer the Siebel development and test environments for an enterprise installation of Siebel CRM, supporting over 2000 users domestically and internationally. You will also provide support to the Siebel development organization, as they continue to enhance and add functionality to the application. Job Responsibilities:- Monitor server logs - server request processor, broker, object managers, workflow monitor, etc. Proactively plan for load balancing of server components. Proactively monitor production performance - analyzing and resolving issues. Troubleshoot individual components when not running; server memory issues; file system errors; issues with web server and browser scripts. Perform installations of Siebel upgrades and patches. Proactively review upcoming patches and releases to assess system risk and impact to current installation of Siebel. Participate in on call support of development and test Siebel servers Work closely with production support teams to problem solve. Work with development team to coordinate migration of data between development, test, and production environments. Proactively plan hardware architecture sizing. Configuring local parameters on Servers. Provide general administration to Siebel web, application, and database servers. Assist in Siebel repository administration and automated build process in a multi-track environment. Qualifications:- Experience with Siebel 7.5/7.7 ideally in the Windows, Oracle environment. Knowledge of Server clustering. Knowledge of Web services. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Experience with monitoring tools a plus; Configuration Experience with database monitoring a plus. Ability to do profiling, traces, and/or understand spooled SQL would be a plus. Experience with Windows and Unix Operating systems.
