Web Developer Location: Irving, TX Duration: 6+ months. Additional Details: The selected candidates will be expected to come to our office to take an HTML test. No exception. Samples of work must be submitted with resume. Senior HTML Developer . Implement HTML modifications on current pages; and assist with the flow of information for the website production group. . Will be expected to hand code new pages in HTML (without the use of a WYSIWYG editor...i.e. Dreamweaver layout view, MS Expression Web, etc...). . Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within this field.... i.e. Information Architecture, Usability and Accessibility Standards, Requirements, etc... . Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) . Ability to set up flexible, extensible systems of style sheets and markup to drive dozens of sections and thousands of pages, working with the team to develop clear CSS naming conventions and reusable chunks of HTML markup. . Will work with business partners and development teams to translate requirements into fully functional web site modules. . Interacting with creative group to ensure the initial design, functionality, layout, theme and creative elements of the site are adhered to. . Will work closely with back-end developers to find ways to push the limits of existing Web technology in order to promote the best possible user experience. . Superior written and verbal communication skills are required. . Works under general supervision in a team environment; reports to a technical manager. . Minimum 4 years directly related work experience. . Coding examples should be submitted in order to be considered for this position.
