Keeping a CD-R/CD-RW in the tray
I thought I read somewhere where you should not leave your CD in your burner when not in use. Has anyone ever heard that? If so, what is the reason? Since I only use it for daily backup it would be much easier to just let the disk stay there. Your thoughts please. -- - Bruce Haig Explorers of the West Sketchbook Project New address: http://www.ourheritage.net Historical Research Centre * 1115 - 8 Ave. S. * Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada T1J 1P7 - -- -- To subscribe:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives:http://list.working-dogs.com/lists/retro-talk/ Problems?: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Retrospect Express with a hard disk
I am looking at getting a larger hard disk and using my old hard disk as a backup only. Both would be attached to the same Mac 7200/90. Will Retrospect Express work with that? Is it safe to have the backup attached to the same computer or is there a risk both hard drives could go at once (even if one is turned off most of the time)?
