Recently I did a restore of an entire drive.
When I would select files to restore from the set (using the Browser)
they reported a size of, say, 100MB. However, when I went to click
"Restore", Retrospect reported that it needed almost three times as
much space.
What am I missing?

How is this different from just setting FMP Server's internal backup?
Another _very_ useful and important routine to run is to set up a timed script
in FileMaker that does a save as of the database(s). This ensures
that there is an
inert copy of the database that Retrospect can backup safely

I have an HP DD3 Autoloader. It loads six tapes at a time.
Within Retrospect, I defined three storage sets (call them Moe,
Larry, and Curly). I rotate them each week. At the start, I took 18
blank tapes and labled them Moe1, Moe2,..., Larry1, Larry2, etc.

Did not include much information in my original post. For the moment,
it appear that there was a DDS-4 tape mixed in with the DDS-3 tapes.
Everytime the loader got to the DDS-4, it ejected the entire caddy.
Removing this tape seemed to have corrected the error.
