Issue 442 in reviewboard: Diff viewer choking on svn diffs with deleted files
Comment #5 on issue 442 by pruggia: Diff viewer choking on svn diffs with deleted files http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=442 I'm experiencing the same thing. I think it's an svn problem generating the patch, but I don't know if reviewboard can do something to avoid this error, it's really annoying not being able to review a file move. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue. Issue 442 in reviewboard: Diff viewer choking on svn diffs with deleted files
Comment #6 on issue 442 by arthur.kalm: Diff viewer choking on svn diffs with deleted files http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=442 As it's been suggested in other places, you can just do a post review. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue. Comment on Using_PostReview in reviewboard
Comment by jitinmalik01: Quatrro is one of the worst company to work for. They are not willing to pay any money who are earning money for them. They are only paying money to manager and higher levels who do nothing but chat and eat all day long. If you take an off towards the end of the month, they will block your salary thinking that you might leave the company and would not come from the next month, as they do things which lead them to think like this that everyone is going to leave them. My advice, never join a company like Quatrro, which is opposite of its own reputation once you are inside it. Issue 442 in reviewboard: Diff viewer choking on svn diffs with deleted files
Comment #8 on issue 442 by arthur.kalm: Diff viewer choking on svn diffs with deleted files http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=442 Well there's a post-review script that lets you create a review after it's been committed. Issue 840 in reviewboard: post-review can't diff correctly Perforce paths with spaces?
Status: New Owner: Labels: Type-Defect Priority-Medium New issue 840 by btsebtse: post-review can't diff correctly Perforce paths with spaces? http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=840 *NOTE: Do not post confidential information in this bug report.* What's the URL of the page containing the problem? N/A What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Have Perforce 2. In your perforce system, have a path like //depot/dev/proj1/path with spaces/file.cpp 3. Edit the file and setup to post-review the change list 4. Review board interprets it as a change of deleted content What is the expected output? What do you see instead? - I would have expected it to properly do the diffs and handle the path with spaces. - When doing post-review -d, the problem looks to be that the path agurment to the diff command is not-escaped or complete so i've seen something like diff -urNp /cygdrive/c/TEMP/tmpatI2gl //btse-ws2//dev/proj1/path - just 'path' instead of 'path with space/file.cpp' What operating system are you using? What browser? Windows XP, Firefox 3.0.1 Please provide any additional information below. Is there some patch in the python script to properly escape these depot paths? -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue. Issue 842 in reviewboard: Allow configuration of ssh user (in addition to the svn user) for svn+ssh accessed repositories
Status: New Owner: Labels: Type-Defect Priority-Medium New issue 842 by bblough: Allow configuration of ssh user (in addition to the svn user) for svn+ssh accessed repositories http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=842 *NOTE: If you have a patch, please submit it to http://reviews.review-board.org/ What's the URL of the page this enhancement relates to, if any? Repository configuration, diff viewer, etc. Describe the enhancement and the motivation for it. I had the same issue as described in this mailing list message - http://groups.google.com/group/reviewboard/msg/7ce11aea8a875280 I did not however, have the option of setting up http access to my svn repository, so the posted solution did not work for me. Based on my testing, it appears that the username configured in the UI is used to run svn, but the application still uses the web server user (www-data in my case) as the remote ssh username. My expectation (whether warranted or not) was that the configured username would be used for both the svn user, and the remote ssh user. Ideally, it would be possible to set the remote ssh username in addition to the svn username. Of course, the local ssh process would still run as the web server user, but having a configurable remote user would allow an application-specific, locked-down account to be used, without risk to any web processes running on the repository server. If this is not possible for whatever reason, then the current behavior should be documented. What operating system are you using? What browser? Debian GNU/Linux, Firefox 3 IE7 Please provide any additional information below.
