Issue 3008 in reviewboard: Customize e-mail behaviour via RBTools

New issue 3008 by vlov...@gmail.com: Customize e-mail behaviour via RBTools
http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=3008

What version are you running?
1.7.9

Describe the enhancement and the motivation for it.
It would be nice if when modifying a review in an automated fashion, there
was more control over whether e-mail notifications get sent out. For
example, our automated build system has a text box on the review it
modifies to indicate testing starts, testing finishes, etc. So when a user
submits, they get a bunch of e-mails:

Review opened
Testing started
Testing finished.

Ideally it would be customizable so that an e-mail would only be notified
to the originator when the tests fail & to all the reviewers when the tests
pass. That way we would only get 1 e-mail per review.

Issue 3007 in reviewboard: Mechanism to customize email messages

New issue 3007 by vlov...@gmail.com: Mechanism to customize email messages
http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=3007

It would be nice to have a mechanism to customize the e-mail format with
templates that get filled in. For example, I would love to be able to see
the review that's being discussed in the subject line on my iPhone.
However, the subject line is too long usually, and all I see is Review
Request 156: dev-some-fe...

If I had a template, then I could customize it to my needs.

For mobile purposes, a better template would be {review-title}: Review
{review-number}

That way the most part of the review title will be visible which usually
contains the most amount of information.

Comment #3 on issue 3001 by chip...@gmail.com: Session cookies are stored
imporperly

http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=3001

All session management is handled by Django. Short of duplicating all their
work and rewriting it, there's not much we can do about cookies and how
they map to user sessions in the database.

We do have a 1 year expiration for cookies, and this is intentional. This
is actually the first I've heard of someone not liking a long session :) We
used to have shorter sessions, and it just annoyed people. We won't be
changing back to that.

Sorry, to clarify, are we talking database passwords?

It appears something broke when you tried to go to here. This is either a
bug in Review Board or a server configuration error. Please report this to
your administrator

http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=2988

I dot this error too. In my case the admin interfaces was broken and I had
to remove some hinted versions from the django_project_versions table to
make it work.
