Hi Terry,

Yep, they do work over HTTPS.

If using a self-signed certificate on a modern Python 2.7.x (2.7.9+), it'll
attempt to verify the cert and fail, so that' something to be aware of.
Certificate verification is still fairly newish in Python, and we have a
lot of work that needs to be done there still.
