About the Beam size adjustment!

Hellow, Everyone! I've been using the X'Pert Pro of Philips, the recent model. What I'd like to do is to get a few patterns from 1mm-thick ceramic-surface by reducing the beam size quite significantly. The Problems I face now are as follows: 1. How to reduce the beam size less than 0.5mm.
