TOPAS Working on MACs

Hi all

 

Some MACs users are experiencing problems using TOPAS/TOPAS-Academic on a
MAC emulating windows. If you are using a successfully using TOPAS on a MAC
then can you please send me a private e-mail with the details of your
emulator; ie. is it Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion, VirtualBox or any
other.

Dear Angel,
the most accurate values you can find will come probably from a complete 
thermodynamic assessments of the two binary systems done in the frame of 
the Calphad method.


Here are references for:
Mo-Si: Y. Liu, G. Shao, P. Tsakiropoulos, Thermodynamic reassessment of 
the Mo±Si and Al±Mo±Si systems, Intermetallics 8 (2000) 953±962
Mo-B: Y. Yang, Y.A. Chang, Thermodynamic modeling of the Mo–Si–B system, 
Intermetallics 13 (2005) 121–128


There exist perhaps more recent evaluations of the systems. This you can 
check by studying the citations of these two articles.
