Hi Stephane, I guess the answer is that it isn't requested often enough. For ping, we have a ticket somewhere to add it. For DNS I can't remember anyone talking out it. Do you have a specific use case? Philip

If I read correctly https://atlas.ripe.net/docs/measurement-creation-api/, traceroute and NTP measurements have a timeout parameter but not ping or DNS. Why?
