[atlas] What is the Aggregator on Map of DNS Measurements

Hi! The MAP of DNS Measurements contains an "Aggregator" option. Unfortunately the online help (Enter a regular expression ) does not help much. Is this feature somewhere described in detail? I do not understand it. Thanks Klaus
