At the meeting with RIPE Working group chairs on 20 May we discussed my original plan to decide on RIPE 81 as soon as the new RIPE Chair is appointed, but no later than the end of June. The consensus following the discussion the topic was that it would be unreasonable to expect the next RIPE Chair

Andy, I agree that things can be improved, but that's an improvement, I don't think that things are terribly broken, nor that changing things for this iteration will improve the situation that the Community is in, with a great need for a Chair and Vice-Chair appointed via the Community agreed
