So when you say composer, and you say you're not talking classical, you mean the originator(s) of the music, e.g. Lennon and McCartney? In the case of Discogs, that would come from the track credits in the "Written-By" value. In the case of MusicBrainz, check the "Work" via "Recording" which is

Not talking Classical. The other day I thought to myself that I'd like to include composers in my tagging routine. Does anyone know of any tagging software that includes lookup to online dbs where the results include the composer? Obviously I can do it manually by reference to various sources
