Sorry that it took me so long. First: Did you remember to run
python3 scripts/update_plugin_messages.py /path/to/my.pluginmap
(without --extract-only)? This is needed to compile the translation
catalog.
However, doing so with your catalog fails with 38 errors of
"duplicate message
