Thanks for the feedback. My testing only had a small database, so 10 min is rather bad. I think switching to doing the conversion when accessed is the best idea. It is simple since that is how I did it before I switched to the upgrade. I only have to add some code to one function. I am going to look into why the conversion did not work to make sure it is not an error that will occur when I do it on demand. I would be interested in the Seen message set string that caused it to fail. May be the pattern that is not being processed correctly.
I will update the branch and submit a new request when I am ready.
