Re: [ros-dev] Selling ReactOS CDs

They paid for the media and for shipping. So if they have issues with
that, they need to complain at the company/person who is responsible for
this.

Hi all !

In the forums some spokesperson of an Indian company offering
services related to FOSS wants to add us to their online shop, see
http://www.reactos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=13780 for more
information. What do you think about this? How should we react?
Should we make clearer our line of conduct about such kind of things?

I believe people will expect support regardless of the selles being
related to ReactOS in any way, so I would rather discourage that. It
will eventually end with people bothering the devs for support someone
else (implicitly) promised.

At some point (when things are clearer) we would need to write something
regarded that in our wiki or somewhere else in the website.

My position:

* Everyone can go and sell ReactOS CDs as he likes as long as he complies by
our used licenses.

* We won't go into relationships of any kind with such companies. We don't
have time nor interest at this stage of development.

Any objections? Otherwise, let's use that if people keep asking.
