Sourabh,
What version of Rose are you using? If you are using an older version of
Rose such as Rose 98 then it might be necessary for you to unzip classes.zip
or rt.jar before adding it to your classpath. Rose 98 did not have the
ability to read .zip or .jar file that were included in the classpath.
If you are using a later version of Rose and if in fact you have included
the rt.jar file into your classpath then the rt.jar should be visible in
your Java Project Specification dialog box (under the Classpath tab). Do
you see this?

Vishu,
I added rt.jar and all other jar and zip files in the classpath. But still
it is not able to resolve the names Socket and ServerSocket and throwing
the same error while I am trying to reverse engineer the source code.
Please let me know how can I resolve this problem.
Waiting for an early reply,
Thanks
Sourabh

Sourabh,
I looked up the J2SE1.4 API docs and I do find ServerSocket in the java.net
package. Do you currently have rt.jar included in your classpath. If not
then add it and see if that fixes your problem.

Hi,
I am having a problem in reverse engineering any file that contains
java.net
classes like Socket, ServerSocket etc. Is there any specific jar that I
need
to include?
The errors that I am getting in the logs is :
Error Resolving qualified name ServerSocket occurred in file
Error Resolving qualified name Socket occurred in file
Thanks and regards,
Sourabh
