RE: (ROSE) XDE & Rose

2002-07-31 Thread Armstrong, Jason

Dik,

You are absolutely correct...got turned around there. We can move Rose
models into XDE, but are not able to move the other direction.

Thanks for the correction,
Jason

Jason,

Is this not a mistake, that you can import XDE models into Rose?
Which version of Rose can do this? And how to do this?

I only know of XDE being able to import Rose models, but not the other way
around.

Scott,

We have had Rose 2002 and XDE (for WSS AD Release 2) on our developer
machines with no issues so far. Other than the fact that you have to
convert your XDE models to Rose models (no way found to convert them back
to
XDE yet) the tools have functioned fine. If you know of specific issues
please provide details.

I would like to load both XDE and Rose on the same machine. Will this work?
I have heard that there is some conflict with this.
Thanks,

RE: (ROSE) XDE & Rose

2002-07-29 Thread Dunnavant, Todd

No problem at all. I run Rational Suite 2002 Release 2 and XDE Professional
Plus 2002 Release 2 just fine.

You do need to ensure that you are running compatible versions of the
products.

RE: (ROSE) XDE & Rose

2002-07-29 Thread Viswanathan, Annamalai

Scott,

I have Rose and XDE installed on several machines and they work just fine.
Can you give me a little more information on what exactly the nature of this
conflict is that you are talking about?
