Personally I don't see any reason to use jack MIDI. About the only piece of software that I use that doesn't use alsa midi is Ardour, which is another reason I don't really care for it. All qtractor, lmms, seq24, reaper, and even bitwig Studio use alsa midi by default. Justin A.K.A Demonic
