I installed the package downloaded from Michael's website below. Things
seem to work fine.
When I started it from the terminal, I got this:

It's usable - just, and what I currently have to do but it's like pulling teeth!
Start:
Click on inset event
Change note to controller
Set controller number (MSB) {remembering which is which}
Set value (LSB)
When setting the next one set sensible delay
