Hmm, maybe with your old "unfavorable" settings the new auto routing change process was still running? re: CPU load > 100%. The joys of multicore processors. On my old i7 (4 core + hyperthreading), htop could show CPU usage hitting 400% or more. The i9 (8 core + HT) I have now can hit 100%
