A little note worth mentioning, just in case someone else notices the problem and can't sort it.
My Laptop (Win 7) now has RPCEmu networking okay via the Network bridge, and the bridge assigns itself the ip address of 15 (This is the first allowable DHCP address on this network) however the original Laptop network IP was 3 so UniLaunch now fails because it's looking for 192.168.0.3 Just add a new Host (The IP address for the bridge) to the UniControl Hosts... list. Then select that in the UniLaunch Select host menu.
