Hi there,

With the introduction of the libavcodec-freeworld and more recently
libva-intel-media-driver the preferred way to complement any fedora
installation after installing rpmfusion (aka groupupdate multimedia)
is currently broken.

I've recently came with a solution that is currently implemented in
rawhide along with f38/39 updates repository (dropping
ffmpeg/ffmpeg-libs mention and using a virtual provides that both
ffmpeg-libs and libavcodec-freeworld can implement)
Now this only works in one case, but because of the conflicts, might
break in others...

It's the same with intel-media-driver (implemented in hardware-support
in rpmfusion-nonfree) and libva-intel-media-driver in fedora
multimedia comps group. As the two packages are in conflict, having
the former prevent updating the multimedia group.

As mentioned in a previous thread, I will not be much available until
the end of January, so please use this thread and try to prevent any
IRC mention during that time.

Thanks for your understanding.
