hi! The problem still exists when I use ssh.exe as the transport path for rsync, rsync'ing from win2k to linux. :( I believe the problem is on the win2k side too. Are there any means to compile rsync for windows other than cygwin? (perhaps it's a cygwin problem) raas ps. I have subscribed to
