Based on the approval of members of this list, I downloaded and installed AVG. Much to
my disappointment,
the email scanning does not prevent me from getting infections.
After I delete the infected email, if I go to the deleted folder the AV pops up that
there is infection in
there. I shied away
I like the ZyWALL firewalls, which will give you these features and a few more.
The ZyWALL 10II or 10W (wireless) run around $250US. Still pretty inexpensive.
ZyXEL makes all of the Netgear stuff, if I'm not mistaken.

rsync will definitely hang in debug mode, because it tries to write more than
the TCP window before it is willing to read. The other side is doing the same
thing, so
