If it's no worse than previous versions, we won't hold up a release of 2.5.6. If a cygwin user tracks it down and provides a fix that doesn't break anybody else, we'll probably put it in. I'll try out 2.5.6pre1 and report back. Nope -- hangs up in the same fashion that 2.5.5 did. Like I said, I'd *really* like to see this fixed but I don't know if I have the rsync background (or the time to get it) to go it on my own.
