I'm really excited about the recent work on extended attributes. I've compiled 2.6.9 with xattr support, and run a few tests. It seems that if I have a file with an extended attribute ( a resource fork in this case), and I run rsync -aX , the mtime is not preserved. Example: stat xattrsrc/a

After installing rsync 2.6.8 on Solaris 10, I have noticed that it is extremely slow compared to older versions of rsync in solaris 8. Not sure if this is related to Solaris 10 or rsync, but please post your experiences with rsync in solaris 10. Have you noticed any slowness/performance
