This is a bug in the way syslogtag is generated if the message received is in rfc5424 format. I ended up adding an if-then-else section to my config to check if syslogtag ends in : or not and populate a $.syslogtag variable that I could use in my templates. David Lang On Mon, 21 Aug 2017,
