Hi list
Due to misbeaving client , I want to rewrite the message received on the first
central sever with the name corresponding to the source ip address.
I am using fromhost for that and it works so far.
However I am wondering what is the value of fromhost if the dns couldn't
resolve the ip address ?
I failed to find any specification for that case and would like to know how to
test it has failed, probably to replace by fromhostip.

If a name lookup (DNS or /etc/hosts or whatever else is defined in /etc/nsswitch) fails to return a name, the IP is returned, so fromhost will then be the same as fromhost-ip
