I'm having a problem that I have not been successful in finding an answer to by googling or applying common sense. I apologise in advance if this is an issue solved already.
I have a file with just some ASCII text and with no extension. When I send it via my mailer it shows as "text/plain" in the ticket as it's content type. However, when I attach it via the web interface it shows as type "application/octet-stream". Should RT not do a minimum of analysis on the file to determine it's file type?
