[rt-users] Working with Message Signature-Status
Hello All An auditor at a customer requested to have them sign their requests to us and us to verify that signature before responding/reacting to their requests. RT (4.2++ for that matter) seems to support GPG and S/MIME for verification and encryption/decryption of messages. Also the signature status of a message is visible on the webinterface. So far so good. My questions tough: - did ever somebody tried to create scripts to react/ignore/discard on base of signature-status? - did ever somebody tried to display the signature-status in transaction mails? My searches in the archives so far turned up nothing the like. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place? -- Best regards, Roman Hochuli Operations Manager nexellent ag Saegereistrasse 33 CH-8152 Glattbrugg Phone: +41 44 872 20 00 Fax: +41 44 872 20 01 URL: www.nexellent.ch X-NCC-RegID: ch.nexellent Imagination is the one weapon in the war against reality. -- Jules de Gaultier - RT 4.4 and RTIR training sessions, and a new workshop day! https://bestpractical.com/training * Los Angeles - January 9-11 2017

[rt-users] Unexpected logout / DB-Upgrade problem
Hello All Sorry for the empty mail earlier today. It was not planned that way. :) We migrated our old RT installation (MySQL 3.23/RT 3.2.4) to a new system (CentOS5/MySQL 5.0.45/RT 3.82) this weekend. One issue we hit today seems to be rooted in a incomplete conversion of the database schemas described here: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/rt/users/77958#77958 Apparently I did not correctly applied the output of the etc/upgrade/upgrade-mysql-schema.pl-script. My question: can I do this now (after all conversion) or do we have to start over with the conversion and loose what happend in the meantime? -- Best regards, Roman Hochuli Operations Manager nexellent ag Saegereistrasse 29 CH-8152 Glattbrugg Phone: +41 44 562 30 40 Fax: +41 44 562 30 41 URL: www.nexellent.ch X-NCC-RegID: ch.nexellent Imagination is the one weapon in the war against reality. -- Jules de Gaultier ___ http://lists.bestpractical.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rt-users Community help: http://wiki.bestpractical.com Commercial support: sa...@bestpractical.com Discover RT's hidden secrets with RT Essentials from O'Reilly Media. Re: [rt-users] Unexpected logout / DB-Upgrade problem
Hello Jesse You can do it now, but the attachments you've received in between upgrading to 3.8.2 and running the upgrade scripts will get garbled and may no longer be visible. Certain international characters are now a little bit funny looking on the webinterface but except of that it seems to have worked. Thank you. -- Best regards, Roman Hochuli Operations Manager nexellent ag Saegereistrasse 29 CH-8152 Glattbrugg Phone: +41 44 562 30 40 Fax: +41 44 562 30 41 URL: www.nexellent.ch X-NCC-RegID: ch.nexellent Imagination is the one weapon in the war against reality. -- Jules de Gaultier ___ http://lists.bestpractical.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rt-users Community help: http://wiki.bestpractical.com Commercial support: sa...@bestpractical.com Discover RT's hidden secrets with RT Essentials from O'Reilly Media.
