Re: [rt-users] mobile interface only shows searches

Hi Matt,

But that makes the mobile UI unusable if it doesn't show dashboards and
RT at a glance, surely? or is a dashboard considered too much info for a
phone screen?

I don't think so.

The mobile UI is rather stripped down.

2013-04-15 Thread Miles Scruggs
Well it isn't 'all deleted tickets' but it is all tickets. I wanted 'all
open tickets', which seems like would be much more popular than all
tickets. Thanks for the heads up I have made the changes I needed, and now
I'm all rolling.

I wonder if All Tickets meant to be literally 'all deleted tickets' or
 if that's a bug.

Regardless, you can use the MassageMenus callback in
share/html/m/_elements/menu to remove All Tickets and replace it with
 your own link.

That's the cleanest and most upgrade-proof solution.

Hi,

The mobile style is located in this location:

/opt/rt4/share/html/m

You can basically copy that directory, or just the files that you want to
change to this location:

/opt/rt4/local/html/m

For example, if you only copy the css file to the local location, then
you'll only replace that part of the mobile interface. The same will count
for the other parts of this page.

Hope this helps a little. (you can view the changes in your normal browser
by going to https://your RT URL/m/.)

In my case I want to change the filter on that list. I know that isn't a CSS
change. I just need to know if that is in the HTML in that path or DB or other
location?

[rt-users] Mobile interface Questions

2011-07-26 Thread omaisz-takács dániel
Hi all,

There is a login in /m/ but i only get redirected to the mobile IF after
loging in on the normal IF..

is this on purpose, or my RT is missconfigured somewhere?

Also, there is no mobile selfservice right? Would this be possible by adding
a branching logic to /m/index.html to use not _elements/menu but for example
/_elements/self/menu etc? Based on if the one who is loging in is privilaged
or not? (Or i just wish this would be so simple? (= )

Thank you.

Regards,

Daniel O.T.

The attached patch makes the default action Respond instead of Comment,
which now agrees with the link text that says Reply. With Action
defaulting to undef, the template was assuming Comment.

[rt-users] mobile interface

2010-11-29 Thread John Arends
I rolled version 1.00 of the mobile interface out to our production RT
server over the weekend, and I already have some of our sysadmins
commenting on it.

Overall people are very pleased with it, and I've heard good comments on
both the iPhone and the Droid.

The biggest feature request is that people can not view their queues,
but in the mean time I've suggested people create saved searches to
replicate the queues that are most important to them.

I also had one guy who reported that his phone didn't redirect to the
mobile interface (I told him to add /m/ to the URL), but then he
mentioned he has a hacked ROM on the phone and is using a non-standard
mobile web browser at which point I decided it made sense he was having
problems

That's a pretty reasonable decision. But out of curiosity, what ROM and which
browser?
