I'm guessing that RT isn't storing the sessions properly. Is there a way I can
rebuild the sessions table (MySQL 4.1.14) w/o losing data?
Thanks

I have had the same exact problem for about a month or so w/no resolution. RT
3.4.5, mysql (4.1.19 5.0.22), fastcgi, apache 2.0.54. As a workaround I
switched to Apache auth rather than rt's cookie-based auth.

We have the same problem with rt (both 3.6 3.4.X) on Gentoo. Perl 5.8.8,
mysql (both 4.1 5.0), latest dbd-mysql, fastcgi, apache 2.0.59. None of
these suggested fixes have resolved the problem, and we have been experiencing
the problem for about 2 months.

Could you backup your DB, and run next to SQL queries?

Then check if you could binary attachments without problems and report back.

Hi all,
What is the proper mysqldump command for the rt3 database? I have been
using:
mysqldump --opt rt3 | bzip2 -c rt3$DATE.sql.bz2
But this seems to corrupt attachments and perhaps other things upon
restore using:
cat rt3$DATE.sql | mysql -hlocalhost --max_allowed_packet=16M
