looking for an Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA). Skill sets
include (but not limited to) database tuning, manage/support database
release cycles, ensure the availability, stability and performance of all
database environments which include Development, QA, UAT, SIT production
and disaster recovery databases. The ideal candidate should have the
ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving
environment. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal
communication skills with the ability and knowhow to collaborate
effectively with domain experts and IT leadership team. As a member of our
highly experienced technical team, you will be helping to deliver cutting
edge solutions for a variety of internal and external clients. Ultimately,
we're after someone who is flexible, a fast learner, loves to solve
problems and enjoys getting products to market. Responsibilities: • Install
and maintain the performance of database servers.
• Develop processes for optimizing database security. • Set and maintain
database standards. • Manage database access. • Performance tuning of
database systems. • Install, upgrade, and manage database applications. •
Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors. • Recommend and implement
emerging database technologies. • Create and manage database reports,
visualizations, and dashboards.
• Create automation for repeating database tasks. • Involves designing,
capacity arrangement, cluster set up, performance fine-tuning, monitoring,
structure planning, scaling and administration.
• Knowledge of Troubleshooting Core Java Applications is a plus. • DBA
Responsibilities like data modeling, design and implementation, software
installation and configuration, database backup and recovery, database
connectivity and security. Requirements / Tech stack:
• Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools • Advanced knowledge of
database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring
standards
• Oracle RAC, Oracle TDE (Encryption) and Oracle Patching experience
• Understanding relational and dimensional data modeling
• PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills
• Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Impeccable attention to detail. Preferred Qualities
• Someone who loves getting things done
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills • Exceptional at
collaborating with both technical and non-technical people (Team Work) •
Highly organized with a strong eye for detail
