Role:-windows admin with active directory Location:-Farmington, CT Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server operating systems Add and remove Windows server features and roles such as Terminal servers RDS, DNS, DHCP, etc.- Troubleshoot Windows Server Performance issues using various performance and monitoring tools Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Hyper-V infrastructure Service Pack upgrade and hot fix installations and windows version upgrade Active Directory configure and maintain Active directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Create Virtual Machine, perform cloning, create and delete snapshots, add and remove hardware resources on guest OS Patch management using other tools such as SCCM etc. Windows Clustering and troubleshooting Bug Checking Dump Analysis Registry Editor Performance Monitor Remote access tools DNS, WINS, DHCP Backup Technologies Patchingsoftware upgrades Volumepartition space management Domain Administrator Creation and management of directory infrastructure Monitoring and reporting associated with the reliability and security of the domain Day-to-day management of the domain controllers Monitoring connectivity, synchronization, replication, Review DC event and security logs and take corrective actions Policy monitoring and compliance Provide OU Admins with assistance when requested Secure remote administration of the DCs and member servers managed by the Infrastructure Group Manage group policy at root of domain and for Domain Controllers OU Group Policy Object GPO creation, troubleshooting, and management Good Understanding of virtualization technology Experience on VMware ESXi 5.5, 6.0 and on V sphere would be preferable. Experience in P2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center. Good hands on command line of ESXi. Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESXi server environment. Good understanding of HA and DRS environment. Experience in performance tuning of VMWare servers and Virtual sessions and management of servers resources between virtual machines. Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual machines and virtual servers.
