. Maintain the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment
(development, test, training and production).

. Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP
Correction and Transport System (CTS) - using SAP ChaRM to ensure all
configuration and development objects are promoted properly. 

. Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured
approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and
performance of each SAP instance.

. Design and implement an optimal SAP configuration to maximize system
performance and availability.

. Install and configure all required SAP database servers and
application servers.

. Distribute the online SAP user workload and monitor and manage the SAP
background job workload.

. Configure and manage the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances.

. Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short
dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.).

. Administer the SAP database with Database Administrator (plan and
perform database upgrades, apply database maintenance, design and maintain

determination and resolution, etc.).

. Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete
client, export/import client) as required.

. Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades.

. System documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces.

*Primary Skill Set*

   - Min 6+ years of  strong testing experience
   - Min 3+ years of experience in Test Automation of APIs and micro
   services
   - Experience in scripting for automation – using JAVA/Python
   - Experience with building automation framework for API/Web
   - Experience in test delivery in a Agile model with focus on in sprint
   automation
   - Solid understanding of RESTful web services and Microservices
   architecture
   - Strong hands-on experience with automation of APIs using SOAPUI/Rest
   Assured or other API automation frameworks
   - Strong in validation content from XML, data bases and flat files using
   scripts
   - Strong knowledge of Database and SQL queries for data validation
   - Solid understanding of test process: requirement analysis, test
   scenario design, test case creation, test scripting and status reporting to
   stakeholders for testing services
   - Experience working with Jenkins to build CI/CD pipeline
   - Able to independently lead and be responsible for the quality of
   deliverables including automation
   - Should have working knowledge on JIRA for test and defect tracking
   - Strong knowledge of AWS technology  is preferred
   - Knowledge on contract based testing using PACT is preferred
   - Functional and Manual Testing

Role: SQL Developer

Location: San Rafael, CA (Local candidates only)

Long Term Contract

 

Using technical skills and business acumen, the Database Developer will be
able to take business questions and translate them to timely and accurate
requirements by using in-depth understanding of client's customers, business
model, products, and KPIs. The individual will have a passion for data
process design and for building continual improvement in efficiencies. The
individual will continue to build out our Commercial Data Warehouse adding
additional data sources and enhancements to support Commercial PowerBI
reporting platform. Working with a team of other database developers, QA and
report engineers, the Database Developer will be supporting our internal SQL
Server databases and multiple source systems integrations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

. Designs and develops Commercial data warehouse that supports
analysis and reporting of sales and marketing data.

. Administers and maintains data sources and related integrations
using Microsoft SQL Server, including building and maintaining automated ETL
processes.

. Work with a team of other developers leveraging best practices and
standards.

. Designs and develops test cases to validate new data and changes
to the existing code.

 

EDUCATION

. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

 

EXPERIENCE

. Five plus years of experience working within a Business
Intelligence/Analytics environment

. Strong SQL skills; understanding of data warehousing principals
and relational databases.

. Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server
and/or Oracle databases.

. Prior experience working with Oracle ERP systems a plus

. Exceptional qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and
problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

. Driven and accountable self-starter, with ability to identify and
communicate priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced industry at a
rapidly growing organization.

. Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience preferred.

. Experience transcribing business requirements, scoping, planning
and delivering projects and technical documentation.

. Previous experience as an architect on multiple large-scale
products in the areas of data management, data architecture, ETL, business
process, data warehouse development.

. Experience with Agile development methodologies preferred.
