JD for BIG Data Engineer:

.  Minimum 4 plus years of proven software development experience and
good understanding of SDLC life cycle

.  Min 2-3 years of BIG data development experience

.  Proven, working expertise with Big Data Technologies. Very good in
Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, HBase, SQL, with Good Analytical skills. 

.  Good understanding on blob storage. Desired: Apache Airflow, ADLS,
Data Bricks

.  Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Data Engineering, complex data
pipeline development

.  Experience in at least any one - ETL, Mainframe, Java, Scala or
Python

Visa Status: USC, GC, H1B, TN, E3 and L2 EAD

 

Job Description:

Knowledge in hadoop , Spark , hive Ability to work with huge volumes of data
so as to derive Business Intelligence Knowledge to analyze data, uncover
information, derive insights, and propose data-driven strategies Knowledge
of OOP languages like Java, C++, and Python Understanding of database
theories, structures, categories, properties, and best practices Knowledge
of installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing Hadoop Analytical mind
and ability to learn-unlearn-relearn concepts Hadoop development and
implementation. Loading from disparate data sets. Pre-processing using Hive
and Pig. Designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting Hadoop.
Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed
design. Perform analysis of vast data stores and uncover insights. Maintain
security and data privacy. Create scalable and high-performance web services
for data tracking. High-speed querying. Managing and deploying HBase.
