Position: Salesforce Analyst Location: San Diego, CA Rate: Open Long Term Contract Responsibilities . Responsible to provide support to end users of Oracle Application at Client. This position is 70% functional (Business Analysis/ Systems Analysis) 30% technical. The analyst will learn the Client business model and the strategic direction of the company to be able to work with business management and end users to assess, analyze, recommend, and implement business improvements that support the business initiatives with IT enabling projects and change management. . Use appropriate software development methodologies prescribed by Client to document user requirements to design business solutions. . Use simple techniques to story board the work flow and solution is required. . Have the ability to work with local and remote development teams to get solution developed and implemented to deliver value. . Oracle System Administration functions such as setting up concurrent programs, menus, registering printers, recommending and creating request sets, etc. System Administration is performed in conjunction with guidelines setup by Global IT organization. . Support users of third party "bolt on" applications that work in conjunction with Oracle. . Work on special projects, including supporting implementation and release upgrades to Oracle Applications and related third party applications. . Communicates very clearly and professionally with users, peers, and all levels of management. The communication forms include written and verbal methods. . Adhere to the processes and work policies defined by Client management. Position Specific Skills: . Critical thinking and strong and independent problem solving skills . Self motivating - demonstrates initiative and ownership . Very good organizational and time management skills . Ability to effectively present information to IT management, Business and other regions . Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions . Very strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact positively with peer groups within and outside IT and management Qualification and Experience: . Bachelor's degree (B.S.); Major or Minor in Information Systems preferred . Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator certification required; Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Sale Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant certification preferred . At least 8 years of working experience as an Salesforce administrator and/or developer with good knowledge on Salesforce architecture and its native capabilities . Clearly understands the best practices to be followed in Salesforce configuration and development and follows the same for future implementations . Good understanding of software development lifecycle for projects .
