*Job Description:*

Client is looking for an experienced Agile Business Analyst, with Credit
Card payments, who will be part of a team to design and build a modern
payments platform with large-scale transaction processing capability.



*Responsibilities:*

*1.Understanding Features available in the Team Backlog at a
Program Level.*

· Work with the Product Manager, Product Owner or Lead Business
Analyst to understand what business opportunity/problem the feature is
solving.  Along with the ability to clearly articulate the client
experience/impact.

· Collaborate with the Product Owner/Manager in preparation for the
PI Planning event.

· Collaborate with cross work stream BAs and SMEs in clarifying the
features.



*2.Plan and facilitate Sprint Grooming Sessions *

· Gathers and analyzes business requirements.

· Communicate and manage to the grooming plan, including ensuring
the appropriate attendees, such as cross work stream teams, are included
and an agenda is distributed in advance.

· For a feature’s first grooming session, prepare and provide
visual context (e.g. Visio flow) to provide the development and test teams
with context.  Leverage the appropriate Sequence Diagram provided by the
Solutions Architect to draft the flow.

· Lead and drive the session, keeping the team on track on defining
the “Happy Path” before discussing exception/error paths.

· Manage follow-up questions/to do’s that are outside of the user
stories, and draft and distribute notes or other documentation.

· Work with the team to identify and resolve dependencies on User
Stories before they are accepted into sprints.

· Collaborate with cross work stream BAs and SMEs in clarifying the
features.

· Embrace learning about the technical aspects of the solution



3.*Prepare user stories*

· Draft user stories so they are small enough, can be estimated and
testable.

· Work with the develop team to decompose the “What” of the
features into increments of work.

· Ability to draft flows to provide visual context of changes

· User Stories should contain functional and non-functional
requirements



*Soft Skills*

· Strong listening skills

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high
attention to detail

· Articulate, persuasive, and comfortable interacting with all
levels of people on both the business and technology sides

· Conceptual and critical thinker

· Servant leader

· Comfortable and articulate in challenging change management
scenarios, know when to insert self and when to fade back

· Proficiency in conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques

· Ability to understand technical issues

· Ability to collaborate with others

· Ability to juggle many requests while maintaining clear priorities

· Shows initiative by anticipating risks, issues and opportunities,
and escalating them accordingly



*Required/Preferred:*

• *Experience in Zelle implementation is required.*

• Experience in Banking or Payments domain is preferred

• Agile experience is preferred, and waterfall is helpful.
