Like I said, only the people it pertained to should have been voting on the proposal. What business do I, living in Etowah County, have voting on a proposal that affects you and Phyllis? There were several other proposals on the ballot that didn't affect me, yet they were on my ballot. I do not live in Trussville proper yet the vote directly effects me greatly (a tax increase is not the problem) yet I would not have had a vote if the vote had been limited to Trussville residents.
