Re: [rules-users] Rule Modeling
Thanks for answer, I think this will do with the BRMS. Otherwis I think we could use DSL to write this kind of stuff. 2007/5/23, Edson Tirelli [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Luck you! :) So, don't generate any eval!! ;) Seriously speaking now, RuleModel is used by a rule modeler in the new BRMS stuff and is evolving... right now it supports only a subset of all DRL features. Also, they suffer from restrictions since they are GWT compiled into javascript. If you want to do anything you do in a DRL when generating your rules, you need to use the descriptor classes instead: org.drools.lang.descr.* []s Edson 2007/5/23, Chris Woodrow [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Hi, I have been trying to do some rule generation using RuleModel class. Re: [rules-users] Rule Modeling
yes that was a deliberate decision at this stage. May reconsider if there is good reason. Its not something we want to expose directly in a GUI, at least not without some formula pallette to help people build and validate simple formula like expressions.
