Hello everyone,
I suffer from one problem and I want to learn what you do in similar cases
if you met.
I am developing a routing app and it send flow mod messages to mininet
switches.
As you know, until the exact path calculated, incoming packets matches the
default rule (saying generally 'go to controller' ). But, if the incoming
flow is big, there may be thousands of packets from a specific flow. These
packets with almost same header will be executed as a new packet until the
controller's flow mod message reaches to switches. At the end, thousands of
flow modification message goes to switches. This is not so good for both
switches and controller.
I need your advices.
Thanks.
