When the server emits a 403 though, it will usually come with a bit more
information.

I just setup a SabreDAV server. Via the browser frontend plugin everything
seems to be OK. I see principals and I was able to create a calendar called
work. When I add the calendar URL in Thunderbird Lightning: I see the error
[JavaScript Warning: "CalDAV: Error doing webdav sync: 403"]
