In EGI grid ( egi.eu ) there are lots of x86_64 cores available under
ScientifiLinux (RedHat) v.4 - v.6
Is it an option to utilize this infrastructure for build tasks?

Once sage is ported to work with ipython 0.12 (to be released
hopefully within a few weeks, git master is nearly ready), this should
be more or less trivial.
You are right
Personaly, I'm more interested in Matlab-like IDE called Spyder

This could be also a great front end for Sage.

The best thing I like about it is the ability to write A4 mathematical

First thing that I'm trying to do is to make a distribution of SAGE that
could be recommended for installation on worker
in place.
Could it be enough just to exclude twisted package from the base
distribution ?
Any other packages that a worker node doesn't need ?
I would appreciate a comment on this issue but will be also
investigating it myself.

packages with just the stuff that we need (e.g. packages that are
currently in SPD, like scipy, numpy, notebook and then bunch of custom

Sage. That's it.
It would be good to update sage-announce Google Group due to the new
