Dear Michael,
Shameless plug: you might be interested in

https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/23517 (which there is a bug there I need
to fix).

Best,

2018-01-24 Thread Michael Walter
I am a long-time Sage user but have not had the chance to contribute
before. If there is interest, I would in principle be willing to help
supervise the "Improving Representation Theory" project (in particular as
it concerns adding support for finite-dimensional Lie algebra
representations as modules).

Best regards,
Michael

Dear Dima,
To let you know that I'm up to help / co-mentor in "Polynomial optimisation
and sums of squares (multiple projects)"

All the best,

2018-01-23 Thread Travis Scrimshaw
I just posted 4 projects (my 3 from last year with some modifications, one
new project that is important enough to be split off from the
representation theory project). I can also help Jean-Pierre as a comentor
for the polynomial project.

Best,
Travis

I've added 2 projects.
We ideally might need 2 or 3 more.
Perhaps I can copy few (not done) projects from previous years; in
particular Travis has
submitted lots of them last year.

I've added a project from last year that Johan and I were ok to mentor.
Don't know about Johan's availability this year so if anyone is ready to
comentor with me (and even take the lead) that would be nice.
