On Ubuntu 16.04, git pull develop from 7.5.beta6 and make ptestlong has
only one failing (timed out) test:

I've seen analogous messages in about two out of three makes. The cuse is,
as always "make doc-clean && make", which eats more and more time, now that
3D plots adorn our online help...
